Learn how to use Vetoryl to treat hyperadrenocorticism safely and effectively
Have the ability to deal with more complex Cushing’s cases including those presenting with multiple endocrinopathies and those which don’t respond to medication as expected Learn how to use Pre-Vetoryl Cortisol for long term monitoring
Afternoon Session—Feline Hyperthyroidism
Learning Objectives for Session:
Develop a solid understanding of the pathophysiology of hyperthyroidism, how it manifests clinically and how it is diagnosed Be able to deal with hyperthyroidism alongside other concurrent disease with a focus on the management of the azotaemic hyperthyroid cat Gain knowledge of all treatment methods available for feline hyperthyroidism, the advantages and disadvantages of each and where each fits into clinical practice
