£ The copper content in SPECIFIC TM FKW Kidney Support is reduced because copper excretion may be compromised in patients with liver diseases. £ The increased level of potassium in SPECIFIC TM FKW Kidney Support supports normal blood levels of potassium in feline kidney patients. £ The diet has high levels of water soluble vitamins and potassium in order to compensate for increased urinary losses caused by the use of diuretics in heart patients.

£ Patients with cholestasis: A diet with a restricted fat content is more suitable (such as SPECIFIC TM FRD/FRW Weight Reduction or SPECIFIC TM FXD Adult) £ Cats with struvite urolithiasis INGREDIENTS Pork, fish, sunflower oil, maize, fish oil, egg powder, cellulose powder, minerals (including tripotassium citrate), vitamins and trace elements (including chelated trace elements), psyllium husk, dextrose, xylose, taurine, L-carnitine, tryptophan. Contains no added artificial colour or flavourings. FEEDING GUIDE IN GRAMS PER DAY The daily individual requirement may vary depending on factors such as breed, environment, season, activity etc. It is therefore advisable to continue monitoring condition and body weight, adjusting the amount fed accordingly.

£ L-carnitine and taurine have been added to the diet to support the heart muscle function.
