Added potassium citrate helps keep calcium oxalate in solution. £ The increased level of potassium in SPECIFIC TM FKD-HY Kidney HydrolysedSupport supports normal blood levels of potassium in feline kidney patients. £ SPECIFIC TM FKD-HY Kidney Support Hydrolysed contains zeolite , which can bind ammonium and thereby help reduce uremia in cats with renal failure and hyperammonaemia in cats with liver failure. £ The diet has high levels of water soluble vitamins and potassium in order to compensate for increased urinary losses caused by the use of diuretics in heart patients.
