£ With added taurine , an important nutrient necessary for many aspects of metabolism. Taurine is required for normal function of the myocardium and supports the heart muscle function £ For large and giant breed puppies, SPECIFIC TM CPD-XL Puppy Large & Giant Breed is a very suitable diet for feeding from weaning (5-6 weeks) until the puppies have reached 80% of their adult weight. From that point, the puppy can be gradually introduced to SPECIFIC TM CXD-XL Adult Large & Giant Breed/CXW Adult All Breeds. £ The large size of the kibbles is adapted to puppies of large and giant breeds promoting mastication, increasing length of eating time and reducing guzzling.

£ SPECIFIC TM CPD-XL Puppy Large & Giant Breed is not an optimal choice for pregnant and lactating bitches, because it has a lower energy density and lower calcium content than SPECIFIC TM CPD-S Puppy Small Breed and SPECIFIC TM CPD-M Puppy Medium Breed. Therefore, SPECIFIC TM CPD-M Puppy Medium Breed is recommen ded for pregnant and lactating large and giant breed bitches. £ Puppies with a considerable lower energy requirement than indicated in the feeding table. For these puppies, SPECIFIC TM CPD-M Puppy Medium Breed is recommended.
