INGREDIENTS Rice, wheat, maize, fish oil, pork fat, egg powder, Antarctic krill, minerals (including tripotassium citrate and zeolite), animal protein hydrolysate, potato protein, vitamins and trace elements (including chelated trace elements), fish meal, yeast, cellulose powder, taurine, methionine, L-carnitine, rosemary extract. With natural antioxidants (tocopherols and vitamin C). Contains no added artificial colours or flavourings.

£ L-carnitine and taurine have been added to the diet to support the heart muscle function.

£ The diet has high levels of water soluble vitamins in order to compensate for increased urinary losses caused by the use of diu retics in heart patients. £ SPECIFIC TM CKD Heart & Kidney Support contains zeolite , which can bind ammonium and thereby help reduce uremia in dogs with renal failure and hyperammonaemia in dogs with liver failure. £ Zinc is a cofactor in the enzymatic conversion of ammonia to urea and can reduce catabolism of protein in muscles. The increased level of zinc in SPECIFIC TM CKD Heart & Kidney Support can contri bute to the reduction of hyperammonaemia in liver patients. £ The copper content in SPECIFIC TM CKD Heart & Kidney Support is reduced because copper excretion may be compromised in patients with liver diseases. £ The exceptional palatability of SPECIFIC TM CKD Heart & Kidney Support maximises the chance of the nutritional requirements being met, even if the patient has a poor appetite. £ SPECIFIC TM CKD Heart & Kidney Support is specially packed under a protected atmosphere to protect the uniquely high level of EPA and DHA in the product.
